Sam
qualified from the University of Bristol in July 1990 and joined
the small animal department of Endell Veterinary Group in October
1990, becoming a partner in April 2004.
She
has a particular interest in rabbit surgery and medicine and
is
a member of the Rabbit Welfare Association and writes for Rabbiting
On, their magazine. She also has a special interest in treating
small mammals, reptiles
and
birds,
as well as our more conventional cat and dog patients!

Sarah-Jane
Eastman BVetMed MRCVS |

Sarah-Jane
qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, University of London,
in July 1995. She then worked in a mixed practice in Somerset for
three years before moving to Hampshire where she spent the next
six years in small animal practice. Sarah-Jane then spent just
over a year running a dedicated out of hours emergency clinic in
the centre of Reading. She joined Endell Veterinary Group in June 2006, becoming a partner in April 2008.
Sarah-Jane’s main clinical interests are ultrasonography
and feline medicine. Outside of work Sarah-Jane enjoys walking,
birding, wildlife and conservation and travelling, especially in
Africa. |

Martin Law BVSc MRCVS |

Martin graduated from the University of Bristol in 2002. He started in mixed practice in Somerset and had stayed in that job for five years before deciding to pursue his interest in small animal veterinary practice only. He enjoys all aspect of small animal veterinary work but particular interests include emergency medicine and surgery.
In his spare time Martin enjoys many sports including football, swimming, tennis and golf. This involves playing or watching these events, and in particular he is a keen follower of his once local team Yeovil Town. After all of this however he is also pleased to relax at home with his three cats. |

Lucinda Nash BSc(Hons) BVSc MRCVS |

Lu joined our team of small animal vets in March 2008. She trained to be a vet at Liverpool University after completing a zoology degree. Since qualifying, she worked in mixed practice in Bedfordshire for six months, and now wants to focus her interest on small animal veterinary work. Lu lives with her two dogs, Bobby and Suzy. She has many hobbies which include dog walking, dancing and swimming, and enjoys most sports and outdoor activities |

Jo Langford BVSc MRCVS |

Jo graduated from Liverpool Veterinary School in 2006 and worked at a mixed practice in Herefordshire for eighteen months. She subsequently went to South America for five months where she worked on a series of charity cat and dog neutering projects. Upon her return to the UK, she joined Endell Veterinary Group in October 2008 and now enjoys all aspects of small animal work. Her particular interests include ophthalmology and soft tissue surgery.
In her spare time, Jo loves running, swimming and dancing to keep fit. She lives in central Salisbury so can enjoy a busy social life and owns a two year old Border Terrier called “Herbie”. |

Michelle
Bowey RVN - Head Nurse |

Michelle joined Endell Veterinary Group in 1992 and qualified in 1998, becoming Head Nurse in 2002. In 2004 she gained her Veterinary Nurse Training A1 Assessor Award. She added an SQP qualification in 2008 and is about to embark on training as a RCVS Veterinary Nurse Practical Examiner.
Michelle is responsible for looking after a nursing team of 8 nurses. She is experienced in all areas of veterinary nursing including theatre, nurse clinics, client contact, and nurse training. However she particularly enjoys the practical side of veterinary nursing using her extensive experience to approach any task given competently and confidently. She also has an interest in nursing exotic species and large animals.
Her hobbies include reading, foreign travel [even if it is only to visit her mum in Spain!], watching films and socialising with friends and family. In 2007 she gained a full unrestricted motorbike licence and she is saving up to afford a classy model once she and her partner have finished renovating their house!.

Jo Rolf RVN |

Jo joined Endell Veterinary Group in September 2006 as a trainee Veterinary Nurse, becoming fully qualified and registered in November 2009. Before moving to Salisbury Jo started her career as an ANA in Dorset.
Jo works mainly in the operating theatres assisting the vets but also has an active role in teaching our trainee nurses. She has yet to develop specialized fields of interest but really enjoys “hands on” nursing, particularly assisting the vets during complex surgical procedures.
In her spare time, she likes to have long walks with her dog “Dave”. Recently Jo has taken up the exciting hobby of kite surfing. She also enjoys socializing with her friends.

Jen Blake RVN |

Jen qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2003 becoming a registered VN in 2006. She joined Endell Veterinary Group in September 2008 initially as a locum, taking up a permanent post in October 2009. Before moving to Wiltshire Jen worked in a busy veterinary hospital in Surrey.
Jen is mainly involved in our operating theatres in the mornings before moving to the consulting rooms in the afternoons. Here she runs a popular nurse clinic with a big emphasis on helping owners with pet weight management She also has a particular interest in wound management. She loves taking care of our clients - always endeavouring to go that extra mile for you!
Outside of work Jen is a keen amateur photographer. She has also just embarked on a new hobby of wood sculpting. Jen adores the local countryside around Salisbury and this has been one of the main reasons for Jen to give up her free spirited life and swap locum work for a permanent position here at EVG. |

Linda Reynolds RVN |
 |
Linda first joined Endell Veterinary Group in April 1998. She is a highly experienced Veterinary Nurse having been in the profession for over twenty year and still feels very passionate about her career choice. Linda left full time practice in December 2001 to start her family and, two lovely little boys later, she returned to nursing part-time at EVG.
Her main role and a specific area of interest is in assisting student nurses with their training and theory work. She qualified as an assessor in 2000 and followed this with her Internal Verifier qualification in 2003.
Outside of work Linda is a busy mum who also enjoys the challenges of living on a farm, including hand rearing a calf. |

Carol Storey RVN |

Carol first joined Endell Veterinary Group in 1993 as Head Nurse, and after a career break of eleven years to raise her three children she returned to work part-time in 2007. Currently she is studying for her SQP qualification.
Carol works mainly in the theatre side of the practice but also enjoys the nurse clinic, which she runs once a week. However all aspects of the small animal department appeal to Carol, with particular interests in dietary management and behavioural problems. She is currently studying for her SQP qualification.
In her leisure time Carol likes walking, cooking, artistic and craft activities as well as spending time with her family. |

Joanna “J” Haskell |
 |
J joined EVG in October 2006 as an Animal Nursing Auxillary. She passed her ANA exams with distinction in 2007 and started training as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008. She is now in her second year of study and enjoying every minute of it!
J is very interested in working with exotic species and plans to further her knowledge in this area after completing her VN training. She hopes to become a fully qualified VN in 2010 so that she can join the other qualified nurses in green!
Out of work she looks after a wide variety of pets – mostly rescued – and finds she can’t help adding to her collection! Currently she has Billy the Cairn Terrier, Rosie a British Shorthair, Ed the Tree Frog and Hamski the Hamster as well as two Guinea Pigs called Dougal and Ermintrude and a rabbit called Duck! In whatever spare time is left she enjoys reading, music, films, cooking and painting.

Leanne Coward |

Leanne spent 3 months with us in June 2008 as part of her practical training for her degree course before joining us permanently in June 2009. She just has her portfolio and final exams to complete before qualifying – she aims to have achieved this by the end of 2010.
Leanne spends most of her time working in the theatre side of the practice, but as with all our nurses can occasionally be spotted manning the Reception Desk. Her main veterinary interests are intensive care of critically ill patients and canine psychology. She hopes one day to complete a Masters Degree in the field of canine psychology.
Out of work Leanne is a keen horse rider when she gets the time and also enjoys an active social life. |

Abigail Rowe |
 |
Abi is one of our Student Veterinary Nurses who is on a placement with us from Hartpury College. Abi started her training at Hartpury in 2007, joining EVG in June 2009 for a one year work placement. She will remain with us until September 2010.
During her time here she will be undertaking all aspects of practical veterinary nursing as part of her training before returning to Hartpury to take her final exams. After qualifying she would particularly like to undertake training courses in hydrotherapy and solatherapy for animals.
Her main interest away from work is her horse Juniper and she enjoys show jumping and eventing. In any free time left she enjoys meeting up with friends |

Emma Rowbotham |
 |
Emma started her nurse training in 2005 and joined Endell Veterinary Groups in June 2008. She is studying for the Veterinary Nursing Science degree at Sparsholt College and is due to get her nursing degree in 2009, and her full qualification in 2011. Emma has several pets at home, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. She hopes to go travelling when she’s finished her degree, after which she wishes to come back and further her interest in small animal behaviour. |

Diane Kimber |

Diane joined EVG in 2001 as a Nursing Auxillary and works part time “behind the scenes” assisting the nursing team.
Her role supports the nursing team by preparing the surgical instruments, operating theatres and consulting rooms.
Diane’s interests outside of work include seeing her grandchildren, walking, cycling, reading, knitting, sewing and cooking. |
